WHO WE ARE
Hope Happens for Neurological Disorders is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Ultimately, we provide HOPE to individuals afflicted with or connected to a neurological disease by inspiring collaborative research based on the concept that the scientific principles of nervous system degeneration and repair are shared across many different neurological diseases. Being a resource, a conduit for information and partnering with patients, their families, physicians, researchers, individual and corporate donors, and other non-profits committed to improving the lives of individuals with neurological diseases are all part of our vision.
Our collaborative relationship with The Hope Center for Neurological Disorders at the Washington University School of Medicine is cutting edge and unique.
HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
By spreading the word…! (www.hopehappens.org)
Moving Together To Find Cures is all about partnering with individuals and organizations passionately interested in the life-impacting mission to improve quality of life and ultimately find cures for individuals with neurological disorders.
Chris Hobler's concept to remove the profit motive from the equation has resulted in shifting the focus to identifying and translating findings to develop therapies and diagnostic tools.
Awareness through education and promotion about what is going on in the realm of collaborative research where scientists actually work side by side across neuro-disciplines, sharing information, space, equipment and results, is essential.
Of course, financial support is vital for translational research as well as to support efforts to promote awareness and educate people about the Hope Happens purpose and mission to improve the quality of life for individuals afflicted with neurological disorders.
